Judith is wholeheartedly dedicated to the health and well-being of her clients. As a registered Clinical Counsellor and Clinical Hypnotherapist with over 25 years’ experience, Judit brings a warm and practical approach to her work. “When a client feels that they have been heard without judgement and that their life experiences have been respected, they begin to feel safe and a trusted therapeutic relationship develops. They learn how to let go of the strain, tension and struggle that has kept them in conflict with the natural flow of their lives”.
Currently working as a family and relationship counsellor, Judit encourages this collaborative journey as it releases the blocks to the client’s awareness of their own inner profound power to change, to grow, and to heal.
Judith’s studies sparked and cultivated her deep desire to more fully understand and appreciate the complexities, the subtle nuances and the extraordinary healing power contained within the human mind. With her strong knowledge in mental health, embracing both Eastern and Western philosophies, Judit has found that the effectiveness of clinical hypnosis has reinforced her belief that the mind is where healing begins.
Specialising in PTSD and anxiety disorders, with a special interest in relationship and family issues, acute and chronic health conditions, Judit is passionate about delivering evidence-based techniques in her therapeutic work, from cognitive behaviour therapy, emotional freedom technique and mindfulness-based therapy, to the positive psychology approaches of acceptance and commitment therapy, which make a difference to the health and well-being of her clients. Judit also uses effective transforming hypnotherapy processes to help individuals overcome limiting beliefs, mental blocks and resolve deep-seated issues. As the ineffective emotional contents are released, Judit then coaches her client into living their lives from the inside-out.
Judith has completed a master’s degree in psychology in Europe, is a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association and the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. She is a member of the Critical Incident Team and facilitates training and workshops, as well as undertaking supervision for individuals and organisations.
Judith’s extensive experience as a counsellor has highlighted the relentless and stressful pace of modern day living and the unwanted affect it is having on our daily lives. We have become a new species of human; consistently tired, overwhelmed by work and family commitments, and seemingly disturbed by the slightest annoyance or inconvenience. Counselling and clinical hypnotherapy offer insight, new and expanded ways to think and feel, which will empower you to make positive and lasting behavioural change.
Judith looks forward to taking you on this special journey.
